Gallery & Classroom Rentals

Looking for an inspiring place to host your workshop, exhibition, or creative gathering? Railroad Street Artworks offers two beautiful rental spaces in the heart of Fairport. Whether you’re planning a small crafting party, teaching a class, hosting an art exhibition, or organizing a creative event, our flexible spaces provide the perfect backdrop. Both rooms feature our welcoming gallery atmosphere, complete with heating, air conditioning, a public restroom, and handicap accessibility.

All bookings require a signed rental agreement and deposit.

THE CLASSROOM

Perfect for intimate gatherings where creativity takes center stage!

The Classroom is ideal for craft nights with friends, small workshops, children’s art parties, or hands-on classes. This cozy space provides everything you need for a successful creative event in a warm, welcoming environment.

  • Comfortably accommodates 8 students, can fit up to 16 based on student needs
  • Four 6-foot tables with chairs
  • Large-screen TV for presentations or demonstrations
  • Tabletop easels available
  • Heated building with central air conditioning
  • Public restroom and handicap accessible

Rental Rates:

  • Non-Members: $50 for 3 hours
  • Members: $30 for 3 hours

Availability: Spaces are available to rent during regular gallery hours (Thursday–Saturday, 12–6 PM and Sunday, 12–4 PM). Rentals outside of these hours may be arranged by special request.

THE Gallery Room

This versatile room is the heart of creative gatherings at Railroad Street Artworks.

With professional gallery-hanging systems and flexible setup options, this beautiful space adapts to your vision—whether it’s a solo art exhibition, group show, artist demonstration, lecture, larger workshop, or meeting. This is the perfect space!

Rental Rates:

For Classes & Workshops:
 • Non-Members: $100 for 3 hours
• Members: $60 for 3 hours

For Meetings & Events:
• Community Rental: $195 (includes kitchen and serviceware)

We understand plans change! If you cancel 30 days or more in advance, there’s no cancellation fee. If you cancel 15-30 days before your event, we retain 50% of the rental fee. Less than 14 days notice, the full rental fee is due.

Yes, with a New York State Liquor Authority one-day Beer, Wine & Cider permit. These single-day permits cost $32 and can be obtained through the NYS Liquor Authority website.

Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring your own food or work with a caterer of your choice.

We ask that you wipe down kitchen counters and appliances, sweep the floors, and return tables and chairs to the classroom storage area before you leave.

Our Small Classroom accommodates 8-10 people comfortably. The Exhibit Room holds 12 students working at artist easels, or 30-40 people in a seated arrangement.

Our kitchen has two beverage dispensers, a 30-cup coffee urn, a 12-cup coffee maker, a microwave, and an electric tea kettle. We also provide serving platters, tongs, serving utensils, and basic tableware.

Yes! We’ll work with you on decorating options based on our current exhibition schedule and your event needs. Let us know what you have in mind when you book.
