Contemporary Mixed Media

After a lifelong career as a creative director crafting visual stories for others, I’ve turned my focus inward—toward creating art that reflects my own perspective, unbound by client expectations. My digital mixed media work blends photography with the tactile immediacy of sketching, merging realism and expressive gesture to celebrate the beauty and joy found in everyday moments. Each multi-layered composition invites discovery and delight. The full series is inspired by my photo explorations of the Fairport Farmers Market from spring through fall.

As a lifelong creator, deeply inspired by the textures and colors of the natural world, I combine my love of nature with modern technology to craft digital mixed media pieces. My work often explores the everyday through layers of texture and vibrant color, offering unique interpretations that invite viewers to experience the familiar in new ways. My most recent series, titled Market Magic, captures the energy and vibrancy of farmer’s markets through bold compositions and a modern perspective.

Recognition for this body of work includes “Farm Fresh” earning an Honorable Mention in the Teravarna 3rd Nature International Juried Art Competition, selected among 202 artists from 32 countries, and “Stay Wild” being named a Finalist in the Teravarna 9th Flower International Juried Art Competition, chosen from 260 artists across 36 countries. Additionally, the work received an Image City Gallery Pick, with Gallery Partner noting:
