Laurie is a passionate artist who captures the emotion, depth and individuality of her subjects with striking detail and sensitivity.  Her work blends classical techniques with contemporary influences, using oil, charcoal and pastel to create portraits that resonate on a deeply human level.  With a keen eye for light, shadow and expression, she transforms fleeting moments into timeless works of art.  

Based in Fairport, Laurie has exhibited in local galleries, national & international shows, earning recognition and awards for her ability to bring portraits to life.  Inspired by human connection and storytelling, she strives to ensure each piece reveals more than just a likeness ~ it tells a story.  When not in her studio, she enjoys Plein air painting and continually seeks new ways to grow as an artist.
