Join this relaxed monthly sketch gathering in Fairport, NY, where creativity comes before perfection. Spend a peaceful couple of hours drawing from a thoughtfully arranged still life, meeting fellow creatives, and enjoying the simple pleasure of putting pencil to paper.

Each Pencil & Pause gathering features a unique themed still life inspired by a different seasonal or creative idea, so there’s always something new to sketch. Whether you’re picking up a pencil for the first time in years or drawing every single day, you’ll find a comfortable, unhurried place to create at your own pace.
What to Expect:

What to Bring: Nothing! Just yourself — though you’re welcome to bring your own sketchbook, or borrow one from the studio.
All materials provided, including drawing paper, pencils, kneaded erasers, blending stumps, and pencil sharpeners.
