Join this relaxed monthly sketch gathering in Fairport, NY, where creativity comes before perfection. Spend a peaceful evening drawing from a thoughtfully arranged still life, meeting fellow creatives, and enjoying the simple pleasure of putting pencil to paper.

Each Pencil & Pause gathering features a unique themed still life inspired by a different seasonal or creative idea, so there’s always something new to sketch. Whether you’re picking up a pencil for the first time in years or draw every single day, you’ll find a comfortable, unhurried place to create at your own pace.
What to expect:
- A unique themed still life each session
- Relaxed, self-paced sketching
- A welcoming, supportive atmosphere
- Optional sharing at the end of the session
- All skill levels welcome

What to bring: Nothing! Just yourself — though you’re welcome to bring your own sketchbook, or borrow one from the studio.
All materials provided, including drawing paper, pencils, kneaded erasers, blending stumps, and pencil sharpeners.
