Grab a pair of your favorite jeans that you would like to embellish with a painted design! You bring the jeans. I’ll provide the paint and instruction!
Transform your favorite pair of jeans into a one-of-a-kind wearable masterpiece in this fun and relaxed painting workshop! Whether you want to add a small accent design or create an all-over artistic statement, you’ll learn how to work with fabric paints to bring your vision to life. Bring along those jeans that could use a creative refresh – maybe they have a small stain you want to cover up, or perhaps they’re perfectly fine but ready for your personal artistic touch.
During our two-hour session, you’ll discover techniques for preparing fabric surfaces, choosing the right paint consistency, and applying designs that will stay vibrant wash after wash. We’ll explore different application methods using brushes, sponges, and even your fingers to create textures and effects that work beautifully on denim. Don’t worry if you’ve never painted on fabric before – this class welcomes everyone from complete beginners to experienced artists looking to try something new.
The atmosphere is encouraging and collaborative, just like everything we do here at Railroad Street Artworks. You’ll work alongside fellow creators in our welcoming studio space, sharing ideas and inspiration as your jeans transform. By the end of the class, you’ll walk away with a unique piece of wearable art and the confidence to continue experimenting with fabric painting at home. Come ready to get a little messy and have a lot of fun!
