A Taste of Calligraphy — Session 4 of 4

If you’d like to expand your knowledge of lettering, join Toi Clawson for a four-week journey in four different styles. We’ll begin with Italic minuscules and move to fun “monoline” lettering. You’ll get an introduction to Brush lettering Basics. We’ll be using felt-tipped markers and various pens. A great way to add lettering to your artwork. Recommended supplies will be discussed at the first session.
Materials fee —
- $10 paid to the instructor at the first class.
Meet Toi Clawson
Toi Clawson is a local Calligrapher and Watercolor artist. Her artwork has been featured in Calligraphy Review and other national magazines, and her calligraphy is in the Speedball Textbook. She has taught both children and adults for several decades in the Fairport area. She relishes teaching and always learns new things from her students!
